Two arrested for dealing in drugs

The pair was taken to Eden Park police station.

EMPD’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) members arrested two suspects in Eden Park on February 1 during their crime prevention operation.

At 1.05pm, at the corner of Adam Kok and Peterson streets, suspects between the ages of 23 and 28, were found idling by a local car wash.

They were spotted by EMPD’s DEU officers and searched.

They were found to be in possession of a couple of zip locks containing dagga valued at R600.

The pair was taken to Eden Park police station.

The suspects were charged with possession of and dealing in illicit substance/s. They are expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
