Two posing as police officers arrested on Swartkoppies Road

Both suspects were handed over to SAPS.

Two men were arrested on February 18 by CPS Security on Swartkoppies Road for posing as police officers.

“Our control room received a call from a client who witnessed a robbery taking place,” said sales director Tyrone van der Merwe.

The getaway car was chased and stopped by CPS Security’s tactical team.

Suspects were found in possession of a police ID card, which they used to pose as police officers.

Both suspects were handed over to Alberton SAPS and will appear in court soon.
