According to Capt Manare Ramotshela, the Alberton SAPS spokesperson, the suspect drove a truck with no valid license disk.

“They further found that the delivery was not supposed to be transported during this time since it was not classed as essential. The suspect and the truck have been booked into police registers,” said Ramotshela.

The driver is expected to appear at Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
