Housebreaking thieves arrested over Easter weekend
SAPS arrest suspects for the criminal activity
On April 21 SAPS Brackendowns made the following arrests:
Three for housebreaking and theft, three for assault GBH, one for fraud, four for theft, one for possession of drugs, two for possession of housebreaking implements.
Tip for drivers on the road:
Stay alert while driving. Women should put their bags in the boot due to a high volume of smash and grabs happening in different locations.

Crime, specially house breaking and theft has escalated dramatically in Brackendowns it is out of control and the police does nothing to about it. The community has no faith in the SAPS and are the last to be called in an emergency, the security companies are the first in line for assistance reason being the SAPS either dont answer their phones or your call simply just dropped, so now the residents are left to either take the law in their own hands to protect themselves and their properties against these criminals or call a security company for assistance. We feel that the SAPS is beyond useless we dont trust them and cant rely on them at all and we are sick and tired of the way we are being treated, they are there to serve and protect us being payed with our taxes.
