Bracken High School supports Children of Fire

125 bags of groceries were collected by Bracken High learners for an organisation in Auckland Park

BRACKEN High learners raised R10 912 for the organisation Children of Fire on April 25.

The learners also managed to gather 125 bags of groceries containing necessities like sugar, coffee, maize meal, flour, rice, pasta, canned food, sweets, tooth paste, washing powder and soap.

Children of Fire are based in Auckland Park, a non-profit organisation that looks after and supports neglected children who have suffered severe burns.

“Thank you to all the learners who made that extra effort to contribute to such a worthy cause,” said Graham Dinkelman.
