Burglars strike again at local business

Thieves return to shop trying to resell the stolen goods.

EDEN PARK – Burglars hit J Trading Project situated at the old shopping centre for the fourth time this year.

The first and second break-in was through holes made through the brick wall, and the third and fourth time burglars broke down the door to gain entry to the shop. Equipment as well as cellular phones brought in for repairs were stolen during the break-in on June 8.

“The thieves stole my stuff, and then returned the following day trying to resell it to me. I then went to the man’s house and found the rest of my goods there. He claimed that his friend gave him the goods to sell. We are looking for the friend,” said the shop owner, Johannes.
