Drug bust in Meyersdal

On July 27, a Brackendowns Sector 2 vehicle followed up information of money that was cut up and left in the veld in Meyersdal.

MEYERSDAL – After Constable Venter and Constable Phatsoane arrived, a white vehicle fled the scene. An eyewitness noted that the number plates led the police to a house of a 29-year-old white man who was arrested for possession of dagga (21 grams).

The passenger in the vehicle resided in Meyersdal, and after searching his flat, the passenger and a 26-year-old white man was arrested for possession of dagga (45 grams), dealing in dagga, possession of an illegal substance (kat/cat) and possession of a dangerous weapon.
