EIKENHOF – Scores of people were demonstrating for service delivery on R554 and they were pelting passing vehicles with rocks on Wednesday morning August 6.
Police were at the scene however the protesters were violent. Rubber bullets were fired at the protesters. They ran to the nearest bushes which some of it they burnt.
The Ward 122 Cllr Thabile Nkosi arrived at 14:30 and try to quell the situation.
