KLIPRIVIER DRIVE – The accident happened on Friday August 8 at about 16:00 after an attempted break-in in New Redruth, Alberton, when the suspects, driving a silver Polo, were chased by Community Protection Services Tactical vehicles.
SAPS attempted to pull the suspects over and a high speed chase followed, with shots being fired at CPS members.
The silver polo collided with the woman’s green Toyota Corolla at the Kliprivier Drive intersection, and she sadly passed away on the scene.
Two suspects were arrested and one firearm was recovered. It’s been established the silver Polo was stolen in Pretoria.
