Suspect arrested for stealing doors and pipes

A concerned resident informed CPS Security of a suspicious man, who was seen carrying aluminium doors and copper pipes in Alberton North. The resident also noted that he climbed over a wall at a property.

ALBERTON – CPS Security dispatched reaction vehicles and on their arrival they were able to identify the suspect from the description given.

They were able to apprehend the suspect after he attempted to flee from their personnel.

The suspect later informed the CPS Security personnel that he stole the items from nearby premises.

This was not the first time they arrested this suspect. On a previous occasion he was arrested in New Redruth after stealing aluminium door frames.

According to reports the stolen goods are taken to a local scrap yard where suspects sell the products. The suspect was planning to buy a well known drug called Thai or Nyaope.

“We would like to thank the two members from Alberton SAP for their quick response and assistance,” CPS Security added.

  1. Hope when the camera was turned of they were shot . Why has the scrap merchant not been arrested and why was he not in jail if he was arrested last year. Only solution shoot them
