Housebreaking suspect tracked through fingerprints

Suspect caught from linked fingerprints

Alberton – On March 23, 2012 a complainant said he left his brother’s house in Albertsdal and everything was in order: doors locked and windows closed.

On March 26, 2012 he arrived back at around 07:30 and noticed the circuit breaker was lying on the floor. On inspection, he discovered that the house was broken into and that a suspect had gained entry through the bedroom window.

The taps, mixer, shower extension and plugs to the value of R15 000 were taken.

The suspect was linked through his finger prints and charged for housebreaking and theft. He appeared in court on September 1.
