Alberton North resident helps fight crime

A concerned resident of Alberton North supplied a photo of a white man breaking into properties to CPS Security.

ALBERTON – The information and photo was passed onto CPS security reaction and tactical members. During a routine patrol one of their tactical units spotted the white man doing an exchange with an unknown black male driving a blue Kia Pincato.

The CPS security tactical member called in for assistance and the two men were apprehended.

The Alberton SAPS was called out. They searched the black man and found several bags of narcotics.

After investigating it was discovered that the white man was a drug addict and was selling the stolen items taken from several homes in Alberton North.

Both men were arrested and taken to Alberton SAPS.

“We would like to say thank you to Alberton SAPS for their assistance.
