JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Trigger-happy Sipho Masuku from Eikenhof was sentenced to 28 years imprisonment for robbing and shooting a woman by the Johannesburg Regional Court on Tuesday September 30.
Sipho Masuku was found guilty for robbery with firearm, attempted murder and possession of unlicensed firearm.
Sipho was caught and apprehended by the community immediately after robbing the victim of her cellphone valued at R750.
The case was assigned to Warrant Officer Zwane of Mondeor SAPS for further investigation. The Detective Branch Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Haasbroek, would like to commend the investigating officer for his effort throughout the investigation.
