DA Alberton Branch wishes residents a happy festive season
As we have approached the end of the year, DA Ward 37 Branch wishes all residents a happy festive season and all the best in the New Year.

ALBERTON – With only just over a week after residents were treated to great entertainment at the first Alberton Day Festival, Ward 37 Branch Chairperson Malcolm Maifala believes: “It is events such as these that should remind every resident that we have plenty to celebrate as the people of Alberton.”
Cllr Bruna Haipel congratulates the organisers for hosting such a great event, which brought much joy in the community. The party believes events such as Alberton Day is a great way to kick off the festive season.
“For those going away on holiday, we wish you a safe journey and hope to see you back in 2015, refreshed and ready for the New Year,” Maifala said.
After the National and Provincial Elections in May this year, the DA in Ward 37 received over 80 per cent of the votes in the ward, something which both Councillor Bruna Haipel and Chairperson Maifala are grateful for.
The party believes this achievement would not have been possible if it was not for the people who continue to show confidence in the party, also the role each supporter, party agent, public representative and activist played in making sure the election campaign was a successful one for the DA.
“As much as we can celebrate our achievements from the year, it is more important for us to make it clear that we value the community of Alberton, it is therefore we would like to take this opportunity to honour organisations such as the CPF, security companies in Alberton as well as the police for the continued work they do to keep us safe.
“These men and women have continued to work long hours to ensure our safety, therefore we hope they will also have an opportunity to enjoy the festive season with their families,” the DA Ward 37 Branch Chairperson emphasised.
The DA wishes every resident of Alberton a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
“May the time spent with your families this Christmas be a blessing and may 2015 be filled with great success,” Maifala concluded.
