New Year greeted by new lives

Maternity wards in hospitals across Ekurhuleni were buzzing with cries and screams of bouncing babies, as the City of Ekurhuleni joined the elated mothers to welcome their bundles of joy by showering them with gifts all neatly packed in a baby hamper.

ALBERTON – The Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Health and Social Services in Ekurhuleni, Cllr Makhosazana Mabaso handed over gifts such as Ekurhuleni Branded bathtubs, baby blankets and baby products to the first four babies born on January 1 at Pholosong hospital in Tsakan, Far East Rand Hospital in Brakpan and Tembisa Hospital.
