Memorial service for Lerato

Since that unfortunate day of February 16 when the grade 12 learner Lerato Malekutu died at the school, sad, morose and melancholy faces can be witnessed among the grade 12 learners and educators.

EDEN PARK – On Wednesday, February 25, the school held a memorial service for the late Lerato, who is still missed by her class mates. The dearly-loved learner was buried on February 28.

At the memorial service, a family member representing the family addressed the learners and educators, SGB members and members of the community with a very strong, but fatherly message to all learners at the school.

Many of the educators expressed their gratitude that they feel peace had been established between the school and Lerato’s family.

Rest in peace Lerato, you will be missed.
