Vehicle tracker leads to robber’s car

Alberton SAPS arrested a man in his thirties after they were able to track a car tracking device.

ALBERTON – The device was removed from a car stolen in Montana, Pretoria. The device lead the police to the suspect’s car, where the device was kept. Along with the tracking device, the police found housebreaking implements, remote controls, computer boxes, and poison used to poison dogs.

The suspect appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.

“We thank Constable Nkoana and R/Costable Maleke who are responsible for this success story, keep up the good work,” Sgt Nkuna, police spokesperson, added.
