Junior Colleges welcomes Sonje Robb

The Baby Nursery Centre at Junior Colleges Castillian in Meyersdal boasts an Early Year Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) with appropriate, stimulating and educational toys as well as a qualified First Aid Teachers.

“It is with great delight that we welcome Sonje Robb to our baby teaching staff,” says Trudie Gilmore, Principal of Junior Colleges Castillian.

Sonje is a qualified nurse, who trained at Addington Hospital. She has been doing nursing for 33 years, with three years of pediatric nursing, and gained valuable and vast experience in early childhood development, in the pediatric ward of Netcare Clinton Hospital.

“Sonje is a dynamic lady who is motivated about early childhood development. She is always kind and compassionate when working with children, and that is why she is such an asset for our teaching staff,” says Gilmore.

“As parents and teachers we all know that a child’s early childhood development is an extremely precious time. Therefore our objective at Junior Colleges Castillian is to allow each individual child the opportunity to explore and develop to their full potential. We welcome Sonje to assist us with this process,” concludes Gilmore.
