ALBERTON – A pedestrian was injured following an accident on Dekenah Road in Alrode today, according to Netcare 911.
Paramedics and other emergency services reportedly arrived on the scene and found a man lying on the ground after he had been knocked over by a vehicle. Upon assessment of the injured pedestrian, paramedics found that he had sustained moderate to serious injuries during the accident.
The injured man was treated on the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The cause of the accident and events that led up to it are currently under police investigation.
