ALBERTON – We are a Durban-based transportation company and on June 4, at around 20:00, one of our trucks was hijacked. The vehicle was taken near Kempton Park by six males. The suspects were driving a white Toyota Corolla with a blue light.
Our driver was forced to stop. The last tracking record that we received from our tracking company was in the area of Katlehong, at around 21:00. Our driver was tied up and left in a bush in Katlehong. He made his way to Heidelberg SAPS this morning to report the incident.
All truckers and motorists should be aware of this and be careful on the road.
