Armed robbery suspects still on the run

BRACKENDOWNS – Three armed robbery suspects are still on the run after they robbed a house in Palala Street, in Brackendowns, yesterday afternoon.

Jaco Lotter, control room manager at D&D Tactical Security Service, said they received the call of an armed robbery at about 14:30, but the suspects managed to flee in a white Nissan bakkie.

“Brackendowns has seen quite an increase of crime-related incidents the past few weeks,” said Lotter.

Sergeant Lindie Maloi from the Brackendowns Police Station could not be reached for comment.
