Reports of taxi violence and gunfire in Aspen Hills, close to the Mall of the South were received on Thursday, August 27.
Residents and motorists were told to avoid Swartkoppies Road and Kliprivier Drive in Mulbarton.
Communications officer for Mondeor SAPS, Constable Elizabeth Sibongile Mnguni, stated that the reports were negative and when officers arrived, the scene was clear.
