The Alberton High girls badminton team is now in the top eight in South Africa.

TOP EIGHT IN SA: The Alberton High badminton girls participated in the SA Schools Championships, in KZN, from August 7 to 10. Even though they lost in the semi-finals, they are now ranked in the top eight in South Africa. They are Lobohang Molotsi, Zama Zwane, Kirsten Warren, Montana Forsythe, Sashrika Rajcoomar and Nondi Fatyela. Absent: Talya Reddy, Magan van Staden and Christi Moodley.
