TOP 10 academic achievers in each grade at Hoërskool Marais Viljoen were recently treated to an out-of-this-world experience to celebrate their results in the July exams.
“This was a special occasion for the grade 12 pupils as this was the last top 10 function of their school career,” said Anne-Marié Potgieter, the school’s media and marketing officer.
GRADE 11 ACHIEVERS: Marais Viljoen pupils who attended General Alberts Primary School were surprised to see their primary school principal there to celebrate their academic achievements with them. They are Brandon Wood (grade 11), Lourika van Nieuwenhuyzen (grade nine), Leon Steenkamp (principal of General Alberts Primary), Werner Steenkamp (grade 10), Kira Voges (grade nine) and Buhle Ngcobo (grade nine).
