Burglar linked to Brackendowns robbery

A suspect arrested by Alberton SAPS has been linked to a house robbery in Brackendowns.

A SUSPECT currently in holding at Boksburg prison awaiting trial for a burglary committed in Alberton has been linked to a Brackendowns house robbery case from June 2015 according to Brackendowns SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Lindi Moloi.

The 35-year-old suspect was linked to the Brackendowns case of house robbery and theft with fingerprint evidence found at the scene. The suspect appeared in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court on January 15. The case was postponed to February 8 when he will appear on both charges.

Detective warrant officer Marcus Marokhu stated that the police have strong evidence in both cases.
