Elderly woman attacked in her home

MONDEOR – The intruder, a black male who was wearing a balaclava, got into her home at about 08:00 threaenting to hurt her unless she handed over cash.

He then pushed her to the floor and poured hot water from the kettle over her, tried to strangle her and tied her arms together.

This is the second time the woman has been attacked in her home this year, only three weeks prior to this on January 3, she was attacked and robbed.

The robber got away with a few items and took some food.
