A MALE SUSPECT in his 20s, who is about 1.6m tall with a slender build, is targeting elderly residents around Mondeor.
He goes onto their premises and robs them of food, cellphones, sunglasses and cash. His victims, who are staying alone in their houses, are from the age of 60 upwards.
Mondeor SAPS is appealing to the elderly to change their routine as the suspect seems to know their schedules. It has also been noted that all the targeted victims usually give food to beggars coming past their homes.
Mondeor SAPS is also appealing to the community to keep a watchful eye on their elderly neighbours.
