Brackendowns SAPS have recovered stolen goods in Alrode valued over R 1, 2 million

BRACKENDOWNS SAPS have arrested three suspects for possession of stolen goods, after recovering merchandise valued over R1,2-million at a storage facility in Alrode, on Tuesday, February 9.

The police recovered cleaning products after a truck was reportedly hijacked in Britz, on February 8. A second storage container, carrying clothing, liquor and cold drinks, reportedly also stolen, was found. The three suspects were arrested at the storage facility where they had stashed the goods.

They will appear in Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Friday, February 12, on charges of possession of stolen property, once the contents of the second container are verified by investigating officers, said Brackendowns SAPS spokesperson Sgt Lindi Moloi.
