BETWEEN February 4 and 17, 80 suspects were arrested by Mondeor SAPS for various offences.
Eight were arrested for shoplifting, 10 for possession of dagga, two for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle, five for theft and 20 for driving under the influence of alcohol. The rest of the suspects were arrested for crimes varying from fraud, malicious damage to property, possession of housebreaking implements, robbery with firearm and possession of drugs.
