A man was robbed on Thursday, February 25, at 13:00 by knife-wielding robbers at the notorious spot between the community hall and the nightclub. The man was coming from Little Germiston towards the shopping centre when he encountered two suspects on the open veld. The robbers just said, “Chisa die phone” and started to attack the man, who fought back but stopped when knives were drawn. The robbers took the man’s cellphone and tablet and ran away. The victim went to the police and opened a case of robbery. Police are investigating.
