CERTAIN areas in Alberton will be affected by power cuts on March 25, 26 and 27
Clr Bruna Haipel would like to inform the residents of Alberton of the following project, so they can make the necessary arrangements:
EMM’s Energy Department is intending to shut down the power on these days, for preventative maintenance at Eiger Substation (Z1).
Areas affected are: Mayberry Park, Brackenhurst, Meyersdal parts of Randhart, General Alberts, Alrode, and parts of Thokoza (Phenduka section; Mpilisweni; Basothong and hostels).
It is, however, recommended that electricity connections or exposed wires be considered “live” at all times and that due care be taken not to touch them.
The community’s assistance in spreading the word will be appreciated.
