Suspect arrested

The home owner screamed for help.

A SUSPECT was arrested after he attempted to stab one of CPS Security’s reaction officers as well as a police officer.

This happened after the suspect tried to break in at a complex in Charl Cilliers Street, in Alberton North, on March 19 .

The suspect managed to gain access to the unit by bending open a window frame where he proceeded to take the home owner’s plasma TV.

The owner screamed for help as she heard someone inside her unit trying to open her front door. CPS Security reaction units were dispatched and the man was arrested.
