Meat World gives away cars

Meatworld announced their winners.

ON April 2 it was the fourth time that Meat World in Verwoerdpark and Alberton gave away a car each to two lucky customers.

All shoppers had to do was to spend R100 or more and fill in a registration form.

According to one of the owners, Jorge Martins, the main focus of these competitions is to reward customers and to give back. “This is also a way to thank them for their support,” he added.

Twenty finalists were phoned and 10 were chosen for the final draw. Little Francois du Plessis (6) picked the 10 names out of a box at Apple Tree. The 10 finalists were each given a box with a wooden key in it and the winner’s key had “Winner” written on it. Jerry Mokokwe (58) is the new owner of the Ford Figo at the Alberton Lifestyle Centre.

Meat World in Verwoedpark held the same competition with a fun day. The winner, Natalie Meintjes (21), shouted out, “My first car.” The crowd was touched by her joy and some tears were shed with her.

“I do not have words – I am so grateful,” said Natalie.
