AfriForum Neighbourhood Watch arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the plroblem pertaining to "drug dens" in Alberton.

AFRIFORUM Neighbourhood Watch arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the problem pertaining to “drug dens” in Alberton.

The arrest was made on Saturday, April 23, after community members gave AfriForum information, specifically pertaining to a “drug den” in Florentia.

The watch was assisted by the SAPS’s specialised K9 unit and SOG Security.

“We would like to thank the community for the information leading to the arrest, the patrollers of our neighbourhood watch, as well as the assistance we received from the police and SOG Security. We will not stop fighting for Alberton; this is our community and with the help of our community members, we can make a positive contribution to our town”, said the chairman of the Alberton branch of AfriForum, Willie van Wyk.
