The energy department in Alberton will be carrying out complete, intrusive and planned maintenance work at EIGER SUBSTATION(Z1)

Work will be carried out on May 14 and 15 from 08am to 4pm. This means that the power supply will be interrupted for 8 hours per day for both days.

Areas will be affected as follows:

All areas of Alrode, General Alberts Park and Meyersdal

Part of the following areas:

1. Randhart
2. Mayberry Park
3. Brackenhurst
4. Brackendowns
5. Thokoza (Mpilisweni, Basothong, Phenduka Section and Hostel)
