ALBERTON SPCA is in need of two new laptops.
“Unfortunately there are frequent power failures in the area and as a result we lose work or simply cannot continue to work until the power is resumed. Obviously this is very frustrating for our staff,” said senior inspector, Kingston Siziba.
If anyone would like to donate towards the laptops they are welcome. Alternatively you can use their SMS lines to donate towards the purchase of new laptops: SMS ‘DOG’ to 39969 to donate R15. Total cost of SMS is R15.
Another way to donate is to get a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card. A percentage of all sales from the cards is donated to the SPCA each month and it’s a fantastic help. It costs the supporter nothing extra, but benefits their chosen charity tremendously. More information is available at www.myschool.co.za and you can apply online or at your nearest Woolies.
