House robbery suspects caught

Two suspects were arrested for house robbery in Brackenhurst.

Two suspects have been arrested for house robbery and possession of two unlicensed firearms and ammunition on September 11.

At about 12:00, the two suspects entered a property in Brackenhurst after following the domestic worker into the house. As she entered a room the two appeared with their guns visible.

They stole a plasma TV, speakers and a vehicle, which they also got away in. A few hours later the tracking company tracked the car to Soweto where the Flying Squad, with assistance from agents on the ground, found the car.

The domestic worker phoned Fox Security as soon as the criminals had left the house. Fox phoned the police and within hours the vehicle was retrieved and the suspects arrested.

The two suspects were caught and charged for the aforementioned crimes. They appeared in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s court on September 12.

The investigation is still on-going.
