More about Ruan:

Ruan Vunderink, a 16-year-old from Meyerton, and a student at Morgenzon Landbou-Akademie, has had his life turned upside down, with a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia. Diagnosed on November 16, 2015, Ruan has spent most of this year undergoing chemotherapy.

Temporarily blinded by two clots on his optical nerves, his future has been in limbo. With his sight restored, Ruan is now looking forward to enjoying his hobbies while he waits for a bone marrow donor.

Friends and family are hoping to raise funds for his bone marrow transplant, and are appealing to each and everyone of you to help, in whatever way you can.
