Man robbed by thugs

The thugs pulled a knife and fire arm on the victim

A MAN was robbed in Petersen Street at about 04:00 on Saturday, July 2.

According to Eden Park SAPS the victim was robbed by two males, one armed with a knife and the other with a firearm.

The complainant reported that he met the thugs on his way home and they both greeted him. When he responded the one pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him while the second drew a knife.

The man was robbed of his cellular phone valued at R2 000, R500 in cash as well as his bank card.

The victim told SAPS that the one man, who is known in the area to be “skelm”, demanded the pic code to unlock his phone as well as the PIN codes to his banking cards before they left.
