IT was one big boogie night when the little ones took to the stage with their performance of Grease.
Junior Colleges Castillian in Meyersdal, hosted their annual show on Wednesday, September 7, and the learners wowed the parents with their performance.
“Every year we look forward to our biggest event; and this year the JC Castillian production, Grease, was no different and we eagerly anticipated showing off our dancing skills. Although parents may feel that performing on stage to a sea of expectant faces could be daunting for a toddler or child there are benefits for the children experiencing this very crucial part in their young lives,” said Kumari Lewis from the school.
Principal of Junior Colleges Castillian Elizabeth Steenkamp, said: “The most remarkable vibe was created by our children, parents and staff. The little ones just stole the show! Congratulations to each individual who participated in our concert, to the parents for their support and to the staff for their love and dedication to our little stars. We are so proud of you all.”
