Creative Academy is visited by Brackenhurst Clinic

On Wednesday, November 16, the Brackenhurst Clinic visited Creative Academy as part of a booster supplement campaign.

CREATIVE Academy received a visit from healthcare professionals from the Brackenhurst Clinic, recently.

On Wednesday, November 16, clinic staff visited the academy as part of a booster supplement campaign. The parents consented to the children receiving a booster dose of polio drops, a Vitamin A supplement to boost their immune systems and a de-worming, chewable tablet, that served as their “sweet” at the end of their turn.

Included in the visit was a wellness assessment, in which the children’s arms were measured to test for malnutrition.

“We are happy to announce that we have very happy and healthy children! A big thank you to the professional and very friendly team from the Brackenhurst Clinic, they made the children feel at ease and very comfortable,” said Jenna Axsel, principal and owner of Creative Academy.
