Scout group needs help

Scout Club

THE 1st Randhart Scout group is inviting people to become part of the group.

The Scout group is being unwound to form two groups running side by side – one called The Cubs (ages seven to 11), the other called The Scouts (ages 11 – 18).

The Cubs are young and mighty in number and the Scouts stronger and wiser, but small in number.

“The group is an non-profit organisation (NPO) and, as you know, we rely fully on the fees of our members. Sometimes this is not enough to cover the cost for repairs or renovations that need to be done on the premises.

“It is at this moment where I would like to extend an invitation to our faithful companies in Alberton that contribute to the growing of our economy, to assist us by means of donations toward these repairs or renovations. The roof of our hall needs to be repaired, as it has a leak in one spot. The fence around the hall is a bit dated and needs to be replaced with a more updated fence to ensure the safety of the children and members when on the premises,” said member Belinda Ferrando.

For more information, contact Neil on 082 934 9595 or Daphne on 082 683 9338. To enquire about donations or to make a donation, please contact Belinda on 082 956 4675.
