Man arrested for murder in Rondebult

Suspect fled the scene.

ALBERTON SAPS recently arrested a man (31) for murder.

It is alleged that there was an argument between the suspect and his uncle during which the uncle was stabbed with a knife.

The incident occurred on January 29 in Selery Street, Ext 23, Rondebult. The suspect fled the scene but the police tracked him down and arrested him.

He will appear in the local magistrate’s court soon.

“The family is thankful and commended the Alberton SAPS for a job well done, under the leadership of Colonel Phuti Sekoma,” said Alberton SAPS spokesperson Captain Manara Ramotshela.
