It is also noteworthy that the u.14A and u.14B teams, as well as the u.15A team, are also competing on this level.

MARAIS Viljoen High School remains unbeaten in the NWU Pukke Prestige Series after their latest victory on the rugby pitch.

Marais Viljoen continued their amazing run with a good victory over Noordheuwel with a score of 45-seven.

This, after completing victories over Jeugland (52 – 0) and also Hugenote (26 – seven).

They are playing well as a team, are very disciplined and are certainly contenders to lift the title in their first year of participation in the series.

It is also noteworthy that the u.14A and u.14B teams, as well as the u.15A team, are also competing on this level.

This will assist the school to have stronger teams coming through the ranks – as you only get better playing against tough opposition.

Points scored: Marais Viljoen: Tries: Brendon Marchbank (two), Austan Nepgen (two), Kwagga Marais, Franco du Plessis, Heinrich Jacobs; conversions: Marchbank (5); Noordheuwel: Try: Wian van Heerden; conversion: Renier Stander.

We will follow them closely in their quest to lift the trophy.
