Teamwork leads to arrests in Alberton

Fox Security tracked down the car and caught the suspects.

 

FOUR suspects were caught by Fox Security on July 12 on the N12 West from the R59, near Voortrekker Road, in Alberton.

They broke into a house in Boksburg and the owner of the house chased them.

“The man approached us at the Sasol garage in Michelle Avenue, stating that the suspects’ car broke down. He explained that he had chased after them,” said Elowayne Gouws from Fox Security’s medical unit.

The reaction team found the car on the side of the highway.

They found the four suspects, who were wearing gloves. A TV, microwave and crowbar were in the back of their vehicle.

STOLEN: The TV, microwave and crowbar that were found in the suspect’s possession.

“The vehicle they were driving was one of the suspect’s brother’s vehicles. The suspects were handed over to Alberton SAPS and are being detained there. No injuries were reported,” Elowayne said.

Fox Security, Fox Security’s medical unit, Afriforum and Alberton SAPS were on the scene.
