Twenty one arrested over the past weekend

Alberton SAPS had a busy weekend.

EKURHULENI West Cluster Alberton SAPS arrested 21 suspects over the past weekend (August 4 to August 6) who are now awaiting their court appearances for their different criminal allegations.

Five of them have been arrested for theft, two for intimidating clients, two for malicious intent to damage property, three for possession of dagga, one for assault, one for common assault, three for shoplifting, one for drinking and driving, one for fraud, one for reckless and negligent driving and one suspect for possession of suspected stolen property .

“They will all be appearing in the local court of law as soon as possible,” said Alberton SAPS communication officer, Capt Manare Ramotshela.
