FOX Security arrested a domestic worker after stolen goods were found in her possession.
On November 14 a resident of Agapanthus street, Brackenhurst notified the security company’s control room that electronic items were missing from his premises and they could not locate their domestic worker. Their reaction and tactical units were dispatched immediately.
Upon investigating they found that a vehicle was let in by the domestic worker. By means of CCTV footage it was established that she arranged for the goods to be fetched from the premises.
On November 15 their tactical units, together with Brackendowns SAPS, were doing their routine patrols in the area and spotted the vehicle on Delphinium Street. They gave chase and with the help of the SAPS the vehicle was stopped.
Upon questioning the occupants they confirmed that the domestic worker contacted them for transport as she needed to move a few items that were allegedly given to her by the owners. The occupants agreed to show them where the items were taken to.
The domestic worker was apprehended at her house in possession of the stolen items.
A case was opened at Brackendowns SAPS and she is being detained there.
