FEATHERS and Scales were met with great excitement from the little ones who could not wait to get their hands on something feathery and soft, and some even brave enough to touch a snake.

They visited Tiny Town Academy on February 5 to educate the children around the theme of feathered and scaled animals, reptiles and bugs.
The children got to touch, feel and discuss the fur, feathers, and scales of an owl, a hawk, a snake, a bearded dragon, a hissing cockroach, a hedgehog, a huge garden snail, a rabbit, a South American chinchilla and a millipede. They also had a look at a tarantula.

Excitement made way for a fun morning of learning while Sheldon Wetton spoke to the children at their level of understanding and he soon had them hanging on his lips.

The little ones could not wait to go home to tell about all they had experienced in just one morning.
