THE Alberton South African Police Service (SAPS) is asking for assistance pertaining to a recent murder in New Redruth.

On the morning of February 6, the body of a murdered man was found at his home at 6 Mercedes Gardens, on St. Michael Street.
“At about 9.40am our sector vehicle received a call about a murder and house robbery. When the officers arrived on the scene, they found the body of a man who had been stabbed and he was confirmed dead by the paramedics from Med-help Alberton,” said captain Manare Ramotshela, spokesperson for the Alberton SAPS.
