ONE suspect was apprehended when a group of armed robbers attempted to rob the Total Garage in Voortrekker Road, Alberton on March 2.
Fox Security and Alberton SAPS reacted swiftly and a shootout ensued between the suspects and the officers.
One suspect was apprehended and he had an unlicensed firearm in his possession. The firearm’s serial numbers were filed off.
The suspect is detained at Alberton SAPS for further investigation.
